Humble beginnings to the world stage

Peach Couture was founded over 20 years ago by a passionate designer who began sketching and creating in a small studio in New York. From those humble beginnings, the designs soon made their way to First Lady luncheons and celebrity events — proof that passion and purpose can turn dreams into reality.

A Designer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, a mother, a daughter, and a voice for women everywhere.

Our Journey

From the very beginning, the mission extended far beyond fashion. The belief was simple: style should empower those who make it. Driven by this conviction, the founder traveled to Nepal and remote Himalayan regions to meet the artisans — many of whom were women working under difficult conditions. Months were spent in villages learning ancient weaving techniques, understanding challenges firsthand, and building relationships rooted in respect and trust. Nepal, a small and under-resourced country nestled between China and India, faces limited economic opportunities. Handwoven cashmere became a lifeline for many families. Through Peach Couture, micro-programs were launched to train, equip, and support women artisans — transforming every purchase into hope, income, and long-term empowerment.

Ethical Cashmere: Compassion in Every Thread

Unlike conventional fashion supply chains, Peach Couture is built on the principle that luxury should never come at the cost of cruelty.

  • No animals are harmed. Our cashmere is gathered only through natural seasonal shedding and gentle hand-combing, a process that causes no pain.

  • Better for the goats. This responsible grooming actually improves the health and comfort of Himalayan goats by reducing excess hair and preventing matting during warmer months.

  • Sustainable livelihoods. By protecting animals while supporting herders, Peach Couture helps preserve ecosystems, cultural traditions, and animal welfare together.

And here’s something to reflect on: your purchase of just one cashmere shawl can help a Nepalese woman feed her family for weeks. For women in Nepal — a tiny, under-resourced country caught between global giants — every handwoven piece represents survival, dignity, and empowerment.

“We guarantee every Peach Couture scarf is ethically sourced, 100% non‑toxic and designed to last for decades not seasons.”
